Rewyld — Privacy Policy

A Human Note Before the Legal Details

Rewyld was built to help you reconnect with the living world, not to harvest your data. We keep things minimal and transparent. Below is the full, exact explanation of how your information is used and protected.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Wyld Way Corp ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Rewyld App. Wyld Way Corp is the data controller for all personal information processed through the app.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

• Email address (if you create an account)
• Practice completion and progress
• Notes or reflections you choose to save
• Support requests and communications

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Usage analytics (session duration, screens viewed)
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics
• Non-identifying analytics data (not linked to you personally)

C. Location Information

We do not collect precise GPS location. We may request approximate location (city or region level) for future optional features such as seasonal or place-based practice recommendations. This permission is optional and can be revoked anytime. The app works fully without it.

D. Payments

All payments are processed by Apple via in-app purchase. We do not see or store payment details.

E. What We Do Not Collect

• Precise GPS
• Cross-app tracking or IDFA
• Health or biometric data. If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, that data stays on your phone (see F below)
• Camera or microphone
• Contacts or address book

Rewyld does not track you across apps or websites.

F. Apple Health and Health Connect (Optional)

If you connect Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, Rewyld works with that data on your phone only.

• What Rewyld saves: the mindful minutes of each practice you complete. On iPhone with iOS 18 or later, it also saves the feeling you choose at the end of a practice, as a State of Mind entry. You can keep any note's feeling on your phone, or turn feelings off in Settings. The words of your notes never go to Health.
• Your notes are separate from Health. When you finish a day of a journey, the note and feeling you leave are saved to your Rewyld account with your journey progress (A above). After any other practice, they stay on your phone.
• What Rewyld reads: your outdoor walks, hikes, runs and rides, and on iPhone your time in daylight, to show your week outside in the app.
• Where it goes: nowhere. Health data is never sent to us, to our servers, to analytics or to crash reporting. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never stored in iCloud by Rewyld.
• Your control: turn it off in Rewyld's Settings, or change what Rewyld may read or save in the Health app on iPhone or in Health Connect on Android. Entries Rewyld saved belong to you in Health, and you can delete them there at any time. Deleting your Rewyld account does not delete them from Health.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Operate and improve the app
• Provide practice tracking and reminders
• Fix bugs and monitor stability
• Process subscriptions
• Respond to support inquiries
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

For EU/EEA users:

• Contract: for account and subscription features
• Legitimate Interest: analytics, diagnostics, app improvement
• Consent: notifications, approximate location, Apple Health and Health Connect, and optional permissions

5. Sharing of Information

We may share limited data with:

• Hosting providers
• Analytics providers
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Crash reporting tools
• Legal authorities when required

All service providers operate under data protection agreements.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the services. If you delete your account, data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days (except data we must retain by law).

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and at rest. If a data breach occurs affecting your information, we will notify you within 72 hours.

8. Your Rights

You may request:

The app may link to external websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after updates means acceptance.
